OUR START
Black Horse Masonry is a family-owned masonry company that is based out of Tacoma, WA. Our projects take us all around the Puget Sound. We take great pride in completing quality projects. We have been in business for over a decade in the Puget Sound area and thanks to our loyal customers, we are constantly expanding our clientele.
Our crew is a combination of full-fledged masons to new apprentices. We have over 50 years of experience. Every person in our company plays a large role in our production and every one of them is family to us.

Isaac
General Manager
Isaac is our General Manager here at Black Horse Masonry and has been with us since we opened. He has been doing masonry for 35+ years and over 12 of those years have been with Black Horse. In his free time Isaac enjoys playing guitar. A fun fact about Isaac is that he was born in Minnesota.
Tara
Project Manager
Tara is our Project Manager and has been working for Black Horse since we opened. She grew up in the Puget Sound area and loves to travel all around Washington State. When she isn't scheduling and planning jobs for us, she enjoys hiking, biking, and kayaking. Tara's favorite thing is to spend time outdoors.
Jaime
Office Manager
Jaime is our Office Manager and has been working with Black Horse since we first opened. She grew up in the Puget Sound Area as well as in Spokane, where she met her husband. They moved to Tacoma to raise their son and have traveled all over Washington State. Jamie loves horseback riding and also breeds miniature schnauzers.
Bob
Resource Manager
Bob is our Resource Manager and has been with Black Horse Masonry since we first opened. He grew up in Arizona and moved to Washington when he was younger. He came to love the area, met his wife in Puyallup and planted his roots. When he relaxes, he finds himself playing his guitar. He also loves to do woodworking projects in his garage when he gets the chance.
Riley
Crew Lead
Riley is one of our crew leads and has been with our company for 5+ years. He first started doing masonry as a summer job. He fell in love with the work and has continued working with us since. When Riley isn't leading projects, he enjoys exploring the outdoors and camping with his girlfriend. He also trains Jiujitsu at a local gym. Fun fact about Riley is that he enjoys drumming after a hard day's work.
Destyn
Crew Lead
Destyn is one of our crew leads and has been doing masonry for 10+ years. He came to Black Horse Masonry with experience in the masonry trade program at Job Corps. He started Job Corps with an interest in welding but found masonry and fell in love with it. Outside of work Destyn enjoys exploring nature and going on walks with his girlfriend and dog. A fun fact about him is that he enjoys all types of music, doesn't matter what genre it is.
Malaki
Laborer
Malaki is one of our apprentices and has been working for us for over a year and a half. He came to Black Horse through a recommendation from a friend who knew about our company. He chose to come to Black Horse right out of high school to learn the trade. He has found he really enjoys it. Outside of working Malaki likes to go on hikes, visiting new restaurants, and enjoys hanging out with his friends. A fun fact about Malaki is that he draws cartoons that look like him and his friends.
