We work in compliance with all codes for working on your commercial building. We want you, your tenants and everyone around your building to be safe.

1
Grind and Tuck Point
Getting your building ground out and re-tucked doesn't just help your curb appeal, it will help keep the building strong for years to come. It is essential to have good and strong mortar joints to ensure the structural integrity and safety of your building. Bad mortar joints in large structures and buildings can lead to larger scaled problems in the future. Grind and tuck pointing is extremely cost effective and quick in comparison to having to relay brick due to failures in joints.
2
Brick Relay
Brick relays are most common on commercial buildings when you have spalling brick, broken brick, separations in joints or wall separations. Wall separations can be noticeable just by standing parallel to the wall and looking for a lean, if you notice your wall is leaning outward, it is time to get your brick taken off and relayed. We have experience in it all, from full relays to replacing a single brick. Spalling brick can create an overhead hazard for your tenants or any pedestrians walking by. It is important to get regular maintenance done on your brick buildings to ensure the safety of those inside and outside.
3
Angle Iron Removal and Installation
Angle irons are used as supports over doorways, openings, and windows. Installing improperly prepped angle irons will lead to rusting and break down. Leading to failures in your brick structure causing major issues in the future. Replacing a failing angle iron prevents additional damage to supported brick and mortar joints. A large tell that your angle iron is failing is when there is separated mortar joints above doorways, windows or other openings.
4
Wall Tie Installation
Wall ties are a great way to ensure your front wall doesn’t separate from the back wall. When there is a lack of wall ties your front wall can start to lean away from the back wall. Creating a hazard of large amounts of brick falling onto the ground below. Installing wall ties is a cost effective way to ensure the safety of those around your building.
5
Cleaners and Sealants
Cleaners are a great way to up your curb appeal and raise the value of your building. Sealants are important for protecting your masonry, we offer water protectant seals that can last you for years. In the Pacific Northwest we experience a lot of rain that will break down your masonry over time. It is good practice to get your building re-sealed every 3-5 years depending on how much rain you experience.
6
Color Enhancers
Color enhancers are a spray on chemical that can brighten your masonry work. It is great to use on old masonry work to make it look new again, raising value and overall appeal. Some color enhancers can also double as a water protectant, though it is always recommended to have a certified water protectant applied on top of the color enhancer to really ensure your building is protected from our Pacific Northwest rainy seasons.
